Damtec® Acoustic Underlay provides outstanding impact sound deadening in residential and commercial floors with high compressive strength and load bearing performance; meeting and exceeding tough acoustic building requirements while only slightly adding to overall floor height. Containing no CFC's, mercury or other hazardous substances, and made from recycled and recyclable rubber, Damtec® Acoustic Underlay is environmentally friendly and extremely resilient.

Damtec® Acoustic Underlay has many applications and can be used under any type of finished flooring as an acoustic isolation treatment, with either loose laid or glue-down applications. With excellent thermal conductivity, Damtec® Acoustic Underlay is ideal for use with under floor heating/cooling systems and can be used over a wide service temperature range.

All Damtec® Acoustic Underlay products have been "deemed-to-satisfy" the Building Code of Australia's (BCA'S) requirements for sound insulation performance. For more information, click here.

Damtec Standard Acoustic Underlay

Damtec® Standard is the low-cost universal acoustic underlay product which is ideal for use as an impact flooring isolation treatment under a carpeted floor. The Damtec® Standard provides outstanding impact sound deadening qualities in residential and commercial floors – within your own four walls and those of the neighbours as well. Damtec® Standard ensures a pleasant work or residential environment whilst only slightly adding to overall floor height.

Material: Fine granulate of recycled rubber with cork and a PU elastomer bonding agent.

Damtec Color Acoustic Underlay

Damtec® Color is manufactured from natural raw materials – rubber and cork – making it an excellent insulating underlay for floors in residential and other buildings. This underlay is ideal below linoleum and PVC floor finishes since its plasticizer-free formulation eliminates the need for a separating layer to prevent unsightly migration. Damtec® Color can be used with any floor finish to maximize footfall sound reduction – making your home or office a nice place to be.

Material: High-quality rubber granulate, 100% recycled, with cork & PU elastomer binding compound.

Damtec Estra Acoustic Underlay

Damtec® Estra is the ideal insulating and vibration-separating padding underneath floating screed floors and also provides significant reduction of footfall sound within the room. Unlike other systems, floating floors reduce sound transmission and impact sound by the design of the sub floor itself. Damtec® Estra is ideal in floating screed systems, providing extremely high resistance to compressive loads and outstanding elasticity.
