KEVMOR HISTORY

Kevin J Mort Distributors, trading under the banner of Kevmor Pty Ltd, was established in 1980 by Kevin John Mort and wife Shirley Mort.  Within the first 12 months, son Gerard joined the business followed by Vincent, Simon and daughter Virginia, and more recently by younger son Matthew; making this a true family business.

Initially, Kevin J Mort Distributors acted as an agent for a large commercial flooring company (United Carpet Mills), winning many large contracts involving significant metreages of commercial carpets.  Later we also began selling large quantities of commercial fabrics and accessories to the upholstery trade.

At this time we also became the W.A. representatives of Whelan Industries, selling and servicing boiling water units and barbeque spits.

Currently the company employs 20 people and is a thriving business.
